Helping young people
Life is tough, and children and young adults don’t always have somebody to talk to. You may be:
- Struggling with family or friend relationships, school or life experience
- Dealing with bereavement
- Experiencing bullying
- Involved in anti-social behaviour, offending or substance abuse
- About to enter care
Whatever the problem, no matter how big or small it may seem, we can help. We do not judge, blame or tell you what to do. We are are there purely for YOU.
We are good at listening and helping you to work through your troubles, to keep you moving forwards in life. If you need counselling support, or you’re an adult and know a young person who does, please contact us.
Counselling for education
We offer a counselling service to schools, colleges and universities, aiming to meet the needs of young people. Our children face mounting pressures, from social media to the perceived need for perfection. Sadly, some youngsters will slip into difficulties such as self-harm, drug abuse and more as a result of these pressures.
Our team of counselling practitioners has worked with the Youth Engagement Service in Bexley for well over a decade, with consistently positive feedback.
We also work with Skills for Growth, supporting young adults to attain qualifications by offering counselling, coaching, coping strategies; and workshops for self-esteem and confidence building, and drug, alcohol and sexual health awareness.
We help young people through their personal issues to grasp their independence and qualify or move on to further training.
Training / Courses
Are you an educational institution providing a course in counselling and personal development? Or a student attending such a course?
We work with educational institutions up to and including Diploma level. We supervise and aid students’ progress and, when feasible, facilitate opportunities for students to gain the experience they need to qualify.
We can also design bespoke courses. For example, you may want to train your teaching staff key listening skills for counselling plus life coaching skills, to communicate effectively with students.
Organisations in the education sector should contact us for a bespoke quote.
